My inspiration for my Italy trip was an art workshop

My art teacher and friend, Jane LaFazio, taught a 5 day workshop on " sketching and watercolor: journal style" offered through Adventures in Italy. So I went to paint. The first morning we met in the convent courtyard with our gear and listened as Jane gave us inspiration and direction.

It looks like a very peaceful place to be which is preferable for painting I would think. I didn't realize there were so many of you on that trip! I love cathedrals and churches and the one you have featured is beautiful. Your paintings are great!

Thank you, Marjorie.
We had 13 in our group. We thought there would be only 6 but it worked out well. Folks from US, Canada, France and India. The duo from India was a woman and her father whom she adored and waited on honorably hand and foot. It was a good group.

It was a wonderful group......and I should have worn a different scarf with that outfit. :-)
