Pink Lemonaid..quilt for Regan's baby

This 40' by 40' baby quilt is a sweet little piece I made for my daughter's childhood friend's first child. Her neighborhood friends and their Mom's gave her a shower a princess would have loved.  We all had a good time painting onesies and sipping wine.  I hope this little quilt will keep this baby warm at night.

I am sure Regan absolutely loves this quilt, and is happily looking forward to displaying it in the babies room.
I hope she appreciates how much work went into making it. Knowing that there was a time when I mistakenly thought you could just whip one up in no time:)

Thank you, Marjorie, that story still makes me laugh. Regan's mother (the new grandmother to be) called me last night to personally thank me for the hand made quilt. She took the time to sit down and look at the pieced fabrics, the stitching and even commented on the binding stitching and then wanted to tell me how much she appreciated my work. It was a thoughtful thing to do. So yes, it was well received. I love the sweet colors of yellow and pink combined together. This has been one of my favorites
