and the roof goes on

My chickens are getting big and the pressure is on to get them into their own home so Monday I was on a deadline to get this coop completed. Shaking a roof was an incredible process and just minutes after the cap was screwed into place and the chickens were inside enjoying their new roof the sky opened up and dumped on the coop. Thunder and lightening completed the debut. Guess what? Not a drop of rain inside!! The Dutch doors went on in the afternoon with help from Ryan. All that's left is a little tweek on the front siding and the windows and nesting box. The chickens will be out of the basement soon

Denise, The coop is looking good:-)
Harvey thinks you should have vented it on the roof and around the bottom. He said you could close vents in winter. Maybe you have vents somewhere and we just can't see them. Regardless...I am impressed.

Thank you. I have "windows" on 3 sides up high for circulation. I may have made a mistake about the vents. Time will tell.
