Four years ago on Christmas Eve I found these cacti blooming behind a grocery store in San Clemente. A week later I took my sketchbook and watercolors to capture the image on paper. Two years ago an artist from Italy asked to you the watercolor for a client in Sicily who had a private winery. They wanted to use my sketch on their label. So here it is on their wine. How fun is this?
