Is there anything more delectable than this California fruit? I haven't done much sketching lately but as I cut into this avocado to make my lunch the other day I was immediately inspired to do a watercolor of it rather than make guacamole. I must me crazy! What a choice. Do any of you remember when this was the popular color for kitchen appliances?

I love avocados too! Did you make guacamole after you finished painting it. I have two that are perfect and will put them in a salad tomorrow. Maybe, a taco salad.
I sliced it up into our now famous Mexican corn salad. Yum! I have another ready for Guacamole!
We had the mexican salad earlier in the week :) Always a winner.
