Chocolate scones

These scones made the house smell like hot chocolate!  They are somewhere between a brownie and a cake.....very light and bits of melted chocolate in the center.  I urge you to try them. From Martha Stewart's baking 45

They were excellent. Ryan ate 3 of them in the car on the way to Balboa Island and the fun zone.. Oh to be young! Be sure to read the entire recipe. The dough needs to be in the freezer for at least 1 hour before baking. Don't skip this step. It made the scone so light and the butter puff up. I think I may use this method for all scones in the future. Good Luck!
