These two little Nigerian dwarf goat doelings are coming home to the "farm" in 2 weeks. I have been watching them grow and they will soon be ready to leave their Mama's and move to the city. Nigerian dwarf goats are great for milk, are only 18 inches tall and make wonderful pets. And...the city of Denver allows residents to have 2. In a couple of years these girls will give us delicious milk for cheeses, yogurts and drinking.
I grew up with goats and have fond memories of them. I can't wait

New chicks in town
Wednesday I got a special mail delivery---2 day old chicks. There is a lot of peeping around here again. I have 6 new girls: 2 Buff Brahma, 2 silver Wyandottes and 2 more Aracauna (blue egg layers). Now we need some names. The 2 silver and white girls are "Lacy" and "Oreo". I need some suggestions for the other 4. The 2 on the right look like spices to me??? The 2 on the left are dainty little girls with feathers on their feet. Please make a comment on your name suggestions.
